Our partners in the health kiosk
The city of Bochum and AOK NordWest are our partners. The health kiosk is part of the “Bochum Strategy” – a future-oriented project that aims to make Bochum an even better place to live by 2030. WAT gesund gGmbH was founded in October 2024 by AWO Ruhr-Mitte and the Hamburg-based company OptiMedis, which specializes in improving healthcare.
Why the Wattenscheid district?
Wattenscheid-Mitte is a district with particular challenges. Many people here have little money, are often ill and find it difficult to get help. We guide you through the often complicated healthcare system and find suitable services.
We are also building a large network in the region. Our aim is to bring together doctors, nursing staff, social institutions and many others.
What we want to achieve
